I guess my review is berry different from the others because I dread all three books back to back. I have to disagree with some of what was written. First of all we learned of Rains cancer in book 2, second, the parts that were overwritten were a significant part of book 3, in trying to help their son it thought up old memories for both Hayden and Raine. The pain in their own lives that had been similar toy the pain Dane was experiencing. Overall I thought it was a good read. The ending was good, they had their happily ever after until the end, even through the trials and tribulations they had to endure. For me this story felt like it could still be someone 's real story. I only wish that the author had developed a longer story for books 2/3.Product details

I was so disappointed by this book. Book one and 2 were great. This was the worst I have read by this author. I did not understand how her son could kill himself. Then her husband dies 6 months later. The his wife hears his voice for 15 years. I do not remember the wife having cancer.
I do not recommend this book..
Living the present by reviewing the past. I love the story of Hayden and Raine. I did not enjoy the story of 'Forever'. The main characters deserved much more to resume their story. It's a good read...not what I expected.
I was so excited when I found out another Against the odds book was coming out .But was disappointed once I started reading a majority of the book were mainly flashbacks to the two previous books in the storyline. My heart sunk to the pit of my stomach with all the tragedy. First to lose a son and then lose your soulmate six months later. I am sure Mrs. Adams had her reason for ending the series the way she selected but in my opinion it is better to read the first two books if you are looking for a happy ending and forget about the last book in the series. Mrs. Adams is a great author However she fail short on this book.
I read both books in two days time. I have read hundreds of romance novels and short stories, bit the story of Rains and Hayden truly touched my heart. How I hoped and pray that my daughter's find a man that can be so devoted to them. I always believed that for someone to write a story that is so heart warming that the author had to experience a love that is a once in a lifetime to draw their story upon. I was so excited when I saw that the author wrote a third book for this couple. The first two were great. Left me feeling good, knowing that true love can conquer anything. But this last book, had me in shock, I did not see this coming. Tragedy and heartache. But through it all her love for him stayed strong even after death, he never left her. I was hoping for a better ending to this conclusion.
I cried and my heart ached for all that she went through.
